Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Cohost Tech, Inc. ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and shares personal information through Moodsearch (the "App") and moodsearch.com (the "Site"). Some App information may be consumer health data under state law; see our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.

We collect personal information from you, from Apple when you sign in, and automatically through your use of the App and Site, including:

• Account information: Sign in with Apple identifier, name, and email address.
• Analysis content: Text or voice transcripts submitted for an analysis; follow-up answers, including free text; possible patterns; and AI-generated summaries and notes shown in the App.
• Voice input: Apple's speech-recognition service processes your speech under Apple's terms, on-device or on Apple's servers, and may use it to improve the service. We receive only the transcript.
• Usage and analytics data: App and Site interactions, events, pages viewed, country-level location, device and crash/error information, and sampled Site session recordings.
• IP address: Collected for security, analytics, and compliance.

We use information covered by our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy only as described there. We use other personal information to operate, improve, and personalize the App and Site; send notifications; protect them; and comply with law. We use your email for Moodsearch communications; marketing emails include an unsubscribe link.

Service Providers

We disclose personal information to AI, analytics, email, notification, hosting and infrastructure, error-monitoring, and app-update providers. They may use it only to provide services to us and must protect it.

Third Parties

The following third parties may use information for their own purposes:

• Advertising and marketing analytics providers: We share an opaque internal account identifier, App activity events, and certain device information for marketing analytics.

Law Enforcement and Legal Process

We may disclose personal information when required by law or valid legal process.

Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of personal information, or opt out of targeted-advertising sharing.

To exercise a right, email privacy@moodsearch.com or delete your account in Settings → Delete Account. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our response.

We may be unable to fulfill requests for Site data we cannot associate with you.

We keep personal information while your account is active. Account deletion removes it from active systems; backup deletion may take up to 35 days. We retain consent, deletion-request, and service-usage records for compliance and audit.

We use reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest.

We do not respond to browser Do Not Track signals. Our Site analytics provider uses first-party cookies and browser storage. Advertising and marketing analytics providers may combine information we share with information from other apps and sites.

The App and Site are intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Contact privacy@moodsearch.com if you believe we have.

The App and Site are intended for U.S. users, and personal information is processed in the United States.

If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy and update the Effective Date.
