Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Cohost Tech, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares personal information through the Moodsearch mobile application (the "App") and moodsearch.com (the "Site"). Some information may be consumer health data under applicable state laws; see our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.

We receive information you choose to submit, information provided by Apple when you sign in, and information generated or collected through your use of the App and Site, including:

• Account information: Your Sign in with Apple identifier and any name or email address received during sign-in.
• Check-in content and results: Text you submit or dictate, answers to guided follow-up questions, and AI-generated scores and other results based on your check-ins.
• Voice input: When you dictate text, Apple’s speech-recognition service processes your speech into text. We receive the text you submit, not an audio recording.
• Usage and analytics data: App and Site interactions, events and pages viewed, device and notification information, error and crash information.
• IP address and similar network information.

We use information covered by our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy only as described there. We use other personal information to operate and improve the App and Site; personalize App features; send notifications; protect the App and Site; and comply with law. We use your email for Moodsearch communications; marketing emails include an unsubscribe link. We do not collect, use, or sell personal data for the purpose of training large language models.

Service Providers

We disclose personal information to providers that support AI, speech recognition, analytics, email, notifications, hosting and infrastructure, error monitoring, and app distribution.

Third Parties

The following third parties may use information for their own purposes:

• Advertising and marketing analytics providers: We disclose certain device and network identifiers and App activity to advertising providers for advertising measurement and attribution. These providers may also collect information about your activity over time and across other apps and websites.
• Friends: When you connect with another user as Friends, you can each see the other's latest Moodsearch Score, when they last checked in, and score history, including scores from before you connected and later updates. Removing a Friend ends access through that connection.

Law Enforcement and Legal Process

We may disclose personal information when required by law or valid legal process.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of personal information, withdraw consent to our use or disclosure of personal information, or opt out of targeted-advertising sharing.

To exercise a privacy right, email privacy@moodsearch.com. You can also delete your Moodsearch account in Settings → Delete Account. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our response.

We may be unable to fulfill requests for Site data we cannot associate with you.

We retain personal information as needed to operate the App and Site and for legal, security, and recordkeeping purposes. When you delete your account, we delete your check-ins and results from our active systems. We may retain limited records for legal, security, and recordkeeping purposes.

We use safeguards to protect personal information.

We do not respond to browser Do Not Track signals.

The App is intended for users 13 and older, and 14 and older in Quebec. The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. Contact privacy@moodsearch.com if you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us.

The App and Site are intended for users in the United States and Canada.

Your personal information may be processed in the United States, where it may be accessible to public authorities under applicable law.

If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy, update the Effective Date, and provide any additional notice required by law.
