Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Scope
This Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy supplements Cohost Tech, Inc.'s ("we," "us," "our") Privacy Policy and describes how we handle certain information processed through Moodsearch (the "App") and our website at https://moodsearch.com (the "Site"). Some information you provide through the App may be considered consumer health data ("CHD") under applicable state laws.
This policy covers mood-related information, linked or reasonably linkable to you, that you provide through the App, such as your mood selections, the patterns you choose to track and your scores for them, and free-text notes, along with the possible patterns we suggest during onboarding, which you choose to track.

We collect this information directly from you when you use the App. During onboarding, we also suggest possible patterns, which you choose to track.
How We Use It
We use this information to provide your check-ins, history, and pattern suggestions; operate the App; respond to your requests; protect the service; and comply with law. We do not use it for advertising. We do not permit our AI provider to use it to train its models.
How We Process It
We process this information by storing it, using it to provide and display App features, and transmitting it to service providers that process it for us under contract.
How We Share It
We do not share this information with third parties. We disclose it only to service providers that process it on our behalf under contract, and only as needed to provide and operate the App, protect the service, respond to your requests, and comply with law. These providers are bound by contract to use this information only to provide services to us.
We do not sell this information. We do not share it with third parties for advertising or marketing.
Third-Party Collection
Third parties do not collect this information over time and across different websites or online services when you use the App. Limited account identifiers and app activity events may be shared with advertising and marketing analytics providers as described in our Privacy Policy, but this information is not included.

Cohost Tech, Inc. has no affiliates.
How Long We Keep It
We keep this information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, it is deleted from our active systems. Deletion from backup systems may take up to 35 days. Service providers that process this information for us retain it only for limited periods under their own retention schedules. Operational logs, error records, consent records, and request records may be retained where needed for security, legal, compliance, or audit purposes.
Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding this information:
- Confirm and access: Get confirmation that we are processing it and a copy of the information we hold about you, including, where required by law, a list of third parties or affiliates with whom we have shared or sold it and an active contact for each.
- Withdraw consent: Stop our collection and use of this information going forward. After you withdraw collection consent, you will not be able to submit a new check-in in the App until you restore consent. Existing information remains unless you also request deletion.
- Delete: Delete this information. You may delete your account in the App under Settings → Delete Account, or by emailing us.
- Correct: Request correction of inaccurate information where applicable.
- Appeal: Appeal our response to any of the above requests.
To exercise any right, email privacy@moodsearch.com. We respond to verified requests within 45 days, unless a shorter period applies to deletion requests under applicable law, and may extend once where permitted by law. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response. We will review and respond within 45 days. If we deny your appeal, we will provide the information required by law for contacting the applicable attorney general or regulator.
Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect this information, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, access controls limiting access to personnel with a documented need, and written confidentiality obligations on personnel and contractors who can access this information.
Geofencing
We do not use geofencing technology around health care facilities, mental health facilities, or reproductive or sexual health facilities.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will post the updated policy in the App and on our website, update the Effective Date, and (where required) notify you in the App before the changes take effect.
